Blockers from living in the moment

During the last years, it started being a practice to promote the act of living in the moment.

And it is right to do it like this because in this way you can concentrate more on what you are doing and enjoy every second.

Have you ever thought about what distracts you from living in the moment?

I am the type who used to be a multitasking person, so I can make a list of habits that used to slow down me.

  • Having distractors - like when you were a student and you had to learn, but suddenly, you remember that you had to cook, clean the room, or do everything else to learn.
  • Being doubtful of yourself - on your skills, on your knowledge, on your intuition, etc. In this way, you do new parallel scenarios and this takes time,
  • Postponing your decisions… or just procrastinating any action.
  • Doing everything on your own and not asking for help.
  • Judging others - this distracts you from what you are doing.
  • Offering your advice to people who didn’t ask for it. Maybe the other person doesn't need your advice - can you imagine this?!?1
  • Looking for others who are guilty. You can’t control what is not yours, so assume what you did.

You can’t change your way of being just like this. But the first step is probably to be aware of what you are doing.

What about you? What can you add more to this list?
